Peltor Comtac XPI / INVICTUS Dual PTT

New 3M Peltor Comtac XPI
Used Atlantic Signal INVICTUS Dual Comm PTT with 2x quick detach 30” cable downleads
The Comtac XPI’s are essentially the European’s model of the American Comtac V’s. Almost identical in design, the XPI does feature a leather headband and uses a 5 pole U174 downlead. Only 5 pole downleads (red rings) are compatible with Atlantic Signal PTT’s, but they are also compatible with standard 4 pole downleads (black ring) you often see.
One way operating 2 radios is by using 2 separate PTTs with a dual lead headset. While it is a viable choice, it is twice as cumbersome as a single PTT with dual comm capability. There is also flexibility with the QD downleads that allow you to operate only 1 radio if you choose. The Atlantic Signal PTT’s are not commercially available to the public and we have recently acquired a few.
