Warranty Policy

Most products sold by EXODUS Comms will have a limited lifetime warranty.

We believe in our products, as a result, we hold high expectations. Our radios and accessories will handle austere environments, adverse conditions and standard operational use. Should any of our products fail, we will support the end user with new replacement hardware or full replacements of the units.

We urge all of Our customers to conduct functions checks and conduct practical exercises with all Goods purchased from EXODUS Comms as soon as possible.

  • If a product malfunctions or is found to be defective within 30 days of delivery, EXODUS Comms will pay for shipping from and to the customer with the replaced Goods.

    • If a product is found to be defective before 30 days since the day of delivery, a new product will be sent to replace the original defective product.

  • If a product malfunctions or is found to be defective after 30 days of delivery, the customer will be responsible for shipping the defective product back to EXODUS Comms. We will then pay for shipping of the product back to the customer.

    • If a product is found to be defective after 30 days since the day of delivery, the defective product may be fixed, replace with refurbished product or possibly a new product.

    • Each RMA will be evaluated and resolved on a case-by-case basis with the most reasonable action.

What is covered:

  • Any manufacture defects that occur as a result of hardware / software issues.

  • Electrical components, hardware including knobs, buttons, antennas, chargers and cables.

  • 18650 battery cells are warrantied for up to 6 months from delivery date.

  • Used 3M Peltor PTTs are warrantied for up to 30 days from deliver date.

  • Any damage that disables the functionality of a device, not caused by modification from the user.

  • Water damage within items that are IPX7 rated.

  • Goods that have been transferred from the original purchaser.

    • Feel free to contact Us if You would like to confirm the authenticity of a product you find on the secondhand market. We will inform you if the product is covered under Warranty.

What is NOT covered:

  • Damage caused by the user transmitting the radio without the antenna properly attached.

  • Non-EXODUS Comms Goods.

  • Damage that does not disable the function of a device.

  • Cosmetic damage.

  • Plain abuse and negligence of equipment.

  • Misuse of equipment outside of the intended use and design of a product. (i.e radios are not to be used as hammers, expected to be ran over by vehicles, baked or survive being dropped off of buildings.)

  • Modification or alterations of any components.

  • Modification of any software that may damage the radio, to include the logo on the start up screen and the hypothetical case of broadening the frequency transmission spectrum, if it was possible.

  • Abuse of the Warranty Policy will not be tolerated, EXODUS Comms reserves the right to deny any RMA request if it is suspected that the end user is deliberately mishandling products to take advantage of the Warranty Policy.

    • Those specific items with their serial numbers will be blacklisted from Our Warranty Policy.
